Postcards from Birgit

Each month, Birgit will curate and mail one of her favorite photographs to you on a premium quality, limited edition postcard. In addition to being packaged by hand, each postcard will be shipped in an envelope to ensure safe delivery to your mailbox. Birgit will also provide a return postcard so you can write back to her and connect via letter mail.

About Birgit Buchart

Birgit Buchart is an Austrian-born, Brooklyn-based photographer and writer. She studied journalism at the Deutsche Pop Academy and English linguistics and literature at Ludwig-Maximilians University in Munich, Germany, before beginning an almost seven-year career at the film photography company Lomography. In 2018, she relocated from Vienna to New York City to serve as Marketing Manager for the North American market, and in 2019 she became General Manager and President of Lomography USA. Since 2024, she has worked as a freelance photographer, writer, and marketing manager, and remains based in Brooklyn, NY.
